Now that you've learned about me, here's the story behind faithintoart.com
Well basically, I wanted to sell my artwork after conventions. I figured the best way to do that would be with an online shop. Tons of people shop online everyday, and I've owned previous websites in the past, but none that were online shops. Especially not online shops for my artwork.
I tried online shops where other people do all the work for you, and all you have to do is submit the artwork... but it wasn't cutting it for me. Sure I sold stuff, but I wanted to be in on the action. I wanted to add a more personal touch to the items with my artwork on them. I wanted to produce the items and ship them to the customer myself. Not have some middle man do it for me.
So I began the process of starting my own website to sell my artwork on. First and foremost I wanted to give God all the glory. Without Him, I wouldn't have any talent at all to even draw. So of course the glory goes to Him for my online shop and any sales I make. And so, I wanted the name of the website to empathize that point.
At first I wanted the website to have a name such as 'TalentFromGod' or 'TalentFromAbove' or something like that. As you can see those are totally cliche even though it got my point across perfectly. After days of brainstorming I (with my family & God's help) finally came up with FaithIntoArt. The name basically means that because of my faith, I can create art like this. Because without Him, I could do nothing. So it's my faith turning into art.
So here it is, FaithIntoArt.com. I sell prints, bookmarks, stickers, cell phone dangles, and other merchandise with my artwork on it. All of which are printed and created here in my home. (Except for the prints & buttons. I send them off to be printed because the quality is nicer that way) And just because the items are made in my home, does not mean that the quality is less. I only offer high quality products. Being hand made simply means that I put more effort into each product and it comes out with a higher quality than a store bought item. Plus it's unique. You can't find it anywhere else. <3
One of the biggest things we offer here is the commissions page. Most people simply allow you to commission something and they'll send you a print of it, or maybe even the original. But it's still just a print. We want you to get even more from your commission. So if you commission something, we can turn it into one of the items that we offer here at FaithIntoArt. That's something you don't find anywhere else. It makes the items so much more personal.
